About Me

Hi, I'm Julia, the founder and main caregiver at Nurture and Connect. With a diverse background as a mother of 4, a grandmother of 5, and experience running an in-home daycare for many years, I have developed a deep passion for supporting families during the postpartum period.

As a community health worker, I have access to a wealth of resources in the area, which allows me to provide comprehensive support to new mothers and families. Drawing from my experience as a licensed foster parent, I empathize with the unique challenges that arise during the postpartum period.

I am dedicated to providing nurturing and compassionate care to mothers, understanding that this is a critical time when support is needed the most. While women often strive to be strong, I believe that having someone by your side during these transitional moments is invaluable. My goal is to nurture and uplift mothers, enabling them to forge a deep and meaningful connection with their newborns.

At Nurture and Connect, I offer a range of services tailored to each family's specific needs. Whether it's providing emotional support, assisting with newborn care, offering breastfeeding guidance, or connecting families to community resources, I am committed to ensuring that mothers can fully embrace their role while feeling supported every step of the way.

I am thrilled to be a part of your postpartum journey, and I look forward to helping you nurture yourself, so you can better connect with your precious baby. Together, we can navigate this transformative and joyous time with grace, love, and care.
